Hi, This is my first post. I've been reading here for a while. I am planning on going up to Brodaks in about a month away. It will be my first time at it or any contest. I will be flying beginner. I been flying since last summer so I have enough of practice in that I can fly the entire beginner pattern. I'm flying an Arf Nobler in pampa, classic, and and arf. And I have a buster for profile. I'm not good enough for old time yet or don't have a plane for it yet. Next year!

What events is everyone flying in and what planes are you going to be flying????

WELCOME!!
I hope that you can use this to get some good information on setups, building techniques etc.

Brodak's was the pure funnest contest I have ever been to, there seems to not be the pressure, I was flying in competition but it was more like a picnic with a contest, not a contest with a picnic...

Well I will have my GeoXL, and maybe a new classic plane who knows, there will be a LOT of stuff there, it grows every year!

I'll be flying intermiediate in all stunt classes. Nobler for ARF, Viking for OTS, Magician for profile and classic, and Brodak Accentor for Pampa. I'll probably bring my Bi-Slob and something else to play with also. My dad still flies beginner so you will be flying with him. He'll be flying a Brodak P-51. Cya there, can't wait!

Have you got starting a Fox down pat

I may end up between a rock and a hard place. Am working on a deal we desperately need that is suppose to kick off the first of the month. If it goes I will only have 45 days to design the system and write the software. If it doesn't go I may not be able to afford the trip to PA. Either way it isn't lookin real good

I'll be flying a Spirit of Saginaw for Intermediate profile and PAMPA. I just flew the complete pattern for the 1st time yesterday so I should clarify, I'll fly it if it survives the next several weeks. A Tucker Special for Classic and a modified Jack Sheeks Hawker Hurricane for Fun Scale.

Joco, what ever you do. ask questions and make the effort to meet the people you're flying with. It's the people that make the contest what it is. Hope to meet you there.

Hi Guys!
I plan on bringing my Aries for classic, my Fancherized Twister for profile, and my GEO XL for Pampa.
I think the Brodak Fly-in is the best contest of the year! One nice thing about the Brodak contest is that they have skill classes for each event. At most contests Classic is not divided into skill classes. At Brodak you can fly all events against people that are at the same skill level as yourself.

A new Giles in PA(hopefully, finishing it this week)
The Interceptor(posted awhile back) in profile
Combat- Psycho, what else.
Classic and Old Time- a Brodak Smoothie and B40 engine.
Probably Foxberg.
Maybe even my old Wildcat in Fun Scale.

Need a bigger van!
