Guys,

I'm not too sure where to post this info so here goes. I have come across a Harbor Freight Tool Store on Smoketown Road across from the Potomac Mills Mall entrance there. I don't know who all in the Northern Virgina, DC, Maryland area knows about the existence of this store. They were having a sale on the 20 OZ gravity feed Pro spray guns for $49.99. If you need some tools they have about anything you could want and no shipping charges or getting lost!

There have been several posts about Harbor Freight. I'm like a kid in a candy store when I go in. We were in College Station, TX last weekend moving my son back for the summer, when we discovered a new store there. Went in to check it out, and came out $300 poorer...Great place!

There's a Harbor Freight about 5 blocks from my office. I go in there a couple of times a month. Some stuff is pretty cheap (as in not worth buying) other stuff is decent quality and a few items are top line. You have to be selective about what you spend money on, but all and all, a pretty decent place.

Yes, I have to exercise my will power every day as there's one directly across the street from my work. I can even hear it calling me now!!!

We have one in our town as well, I'd be a little careful buying a higher priced item as most of it is pretty cheep import stuff, I notice they like names like: CHICAGO or PITTSBURGH TOOLS...but it is fun buying one million candle power cordless spotlights for 9.95 or a stand for your grinder for 19.95!

Mark, Chicago Pneumatic and Pittsburg Tools are American, but they hav ebeen made in Taiwan for some time now. I used to be a tool dealer and was surprised at how many known brand names were no longer made in the USA. They didn't pick the names, just bought the companies. Go figure.

Hi Jim. Did you know about the one here in Huntsville before you moved?? It's in an old "rip off electronics" store out on University Ave.

I found it by accident. Next time you're in town, I'll show you were it's at. It used to be a Circuit City. Still has that shape to it.
