After showing up with the same planes day after day, I suggesetd we each bring something different,a surprise plane, to the field the next day. I stuck a Magnum 40 on a friend's Banshee that she was storing in my garage and as it had never flown well with a Stallion 35, I thought this would be a good surprise plane.
My friend beat me with this one. A Flight Streak from 1975 with a tuned pipe. The Streak flew just like it had no extra weight and sounded great!

I have one of those engines that would love to be on a Streak. What kind of tuned pipe and manifold combination is that you're using?

The plane belongs to my friend so I will ask him tonite and get him to respond. The only thing I know is that it's the only tuned pipe he has...maybe he put that motor on because it fit the pipe. I think he used to have a G21 ST on this plane.

You're right, Norm. It did origionally have a G21 .35 on it, but for a while has had a C35 Combat on it. I added the pipe to quiet it down for the neighbours around the field. There is no name on the pipe or header. I got it with an HB .40 a while ago, and it fits the old Super Tigres perfectly. Sure looks different in the air! Goes great, didn't throw the balance off at all.

The photo credit goes to me!!
I started taking a digital camera out about 4 years ago and taking 30+ pics each time we flew. My flying partner ended up doing the same and we trade action shots after each session. Lots of fun.
The camera is an old Kodak DC290. Slow but works great when you can move the camera as fast as the plane is going. 35mm would capture clearer shots but hey..digital film is free so we take lots and keep few.
