The column which I write for Aug/Sept SN will be totally devoted to the issue of BOM. I will attempt to be the moderator in this debate (something I have some experience with in my distant past). The opening of the article will be my opinion as to why this should be discussed and the reasoning behind my position. The balance of the column will be devoted to the comments / opinions which I receive. Here are the rules:
1: Keep it civil! Reasoned opinions will be honored in the spirit which they are submitted. I will attempt to compile these responses (both Pro or Con) and present a reasoned position of all readers.
2: Your responses will be strictly confidential as to source. I hope that this allows some of the top 20 flyers whom I have spoken with over the past four years to come forward and express their views which have been communicated to me in this time frame.
3: Please reply to me directly: [email protected]. That way we don't upset members of this forum and increase the heat.
4: Deadline: July 15, 04. This will allow me to compile the information and submit by the 7-20-04 deadline for inclusion in the Aug/Sept issue.
