As Tom Lay Stated in his post Lucky is in the hosiptal with a serious health issue.

Lucky Pyatt has been very involved in C/L, in all aspects. He has contributed a lot to our hobby for many years. He is also very involved in AMA. Lucky is a class act and one of a kind wonderful person.

Please keep Lucky and Rickii in your prayers

I saw Lucky last night. When I woke him he open his eyes and waved at me so that was very encouraging. If anyone wants to send cards it would be best to send them to Ricky at their home.

Lucky is still in ICU and on a respirator. He understands what is said and asked of him but still has no use of his right side.

Some great news, Lucky is off the respirator and sitting up and talking. He's still pretty drugged up but is understanding and responding. He still is unable to use his right side. This was late yesterday when I got the news so today could be even better.

Talked to Rickii this morning. Lucky is now excepting visitors and calls. She said call him or see him, he needs it right now. He is in Northwest hospital 520-742-9000 Room 314. I'm going to see him this evening and I'll let all know how he's doing.

Lucky has been moved to a rehabilitation center. He is starting to use his right hand. Rickii says everyone is welcome to call him. The Nimber is 520-529-8877

Our thoughts and prayers are with Lucky and his family.

Hi!

I've never met Lucky myself but called this afternoon and spoke to Lucky's son for a few minutes.

He said that his dad is doing much better and already moving into the rehab phase of his recovery. That sounds like good news indeed!

I wish that I had an address to send a card, so if anyone comes up with that info, please post it on the board.

I also want to urge more of you guys to give a call of support. Every bit of positive energy helps when you're down!

I just got off the telephone from talking to Lucky. He sounded well, and is in good spirits and has the right attitude for dealing with his problem. He is undergoing physical therapy and is making good progress with it. He said that his wife Rikki is up there all the time.

when I called, Bart Klapinski answered the phone. He is spending a lot of time with Lucky assisting in the physical therapy.

I have been following the progress of Lucky. His misfortune must give some of us pause. As Roy DeCamara recently said, when discussing Lucky, "we are at the critical age". (meaning, of course Lucky,Roy and myself). So, I am 70 1/2, and bad things could happen to me at any moment, although I have no health problems at all--that I know of. (except that I tend to crash about 10 PM).

Lucky is progressing very quickly. He can sit up by himself and is walking with a walker to therapy without help. He is a level 5 already on the bi-cycle/sking machine thing. His wits are keen again. He's laughing and joking. Give him a call if you want 520-529-8877.

Great news for everyone. Lucky is home and looks great and is laughing and joking. He is using his right side very well. Say's he still needs to make it stronger and is working on his drawing skills. I wish all of you could have had the pleasure I did when I went to his home and talked and laughed with him. It was overwhelming. He is an amazing person.
