Moki 51 Sells for $517.50!

Boy wish I had several Moki 51's. Look what this one went for at the famous auction site.

I am glad to see that the reserve was met. I would hate to see it get that high and not quite get there (tongue in cheek).

Oh, yes, bidding on a "scarce Moki 51 engine"

It must be scarce. The seller calls himself "Mr_Moki" and has 655 sales to his credit.

I've got two of them. One has been bench run. I can't remember if I tried the other. In any event, now I'll probably be afraid to fly them.

PS I think I will get a PA65 with pipe with the extra cash.

A nice engine but not that nice! Crazy place EBAY is. A OS 15 diesel just sold for over $600. A rare engine itself but for that price it should have been NIB.

I have seen you fly and it gives me the willies.

I think your "Willeys" will command a very high price as they are exceedingly rare.

I do not believe your Wiley motors are worth much. On the other hand, you may be the only person on this planet who has made a serious effort toward seeing a Wiley 36 actually work properly in a CL Stunt model. If you keep the (mostly) dismal results to yourself they may well sell. I will expect a gratuity should this prove to be the case.
