Is my Ambroid Stuka Stunt legal to fly in Old Time Stunt? Don Stills original came out before the 1952 cut-off but the Ambroid came out sometime later. There are some minor changes to the construction and I would think some purist would see some grey area.I plan to attend the Palmer Cassic this month and I would like to fly it In Old Time as well as Classic but I do not want to create a protestable issue.

No!

This is a later version and has a number of minor changes throughout. Although minor, each in its own right eliminates it from being Old Time legal. They are not grey areas. It just doesn't make it, and is definitely different when you compare the two designs side by side.

Classic rules allow some changes with a loss of fidelity points. Old Time Rules are rigid. You can change internal structure, but the outside shape must be maintained.

Thanks Len, like it or not, that is the answer I sort of expected. I'll just fly it in Classic and A Stunt.
