AAAARRRGGGHHH!!!!!

Fellow modelers I need some help, I am building an R S M "Green Box Nobler" and it has the 1/4 sq leading edge set up like a diamond.
The questions that I am asking is what is the best way to get a straight wing. I am using a set of jig blocks that I had Tom Morris cut for me, and I had the l/e notches cut 3/8" deep so that I could "trap" the l/e with the 1/16 sheeting. The problem was that the wing wouldn't in the jigs, it was like it was too small!!
Any help will be appreciated.....

There was a article in PAMPA on building a kit wing such as yours using the Tom Morris wing fixture. Can't remember the month but I'll look for it. Basically they cut a vertical line thru the further most aft corner of the diamond removing it totally. Now you have a rib that is short. In the center of the leading edge of the rib that you just cut make a 1/16 slot x 1/4 long. Now you can use the Tom Morris type leading edge. Do the same with the trailing edge. The leading edge will be about 5/16 thick (front to rear) x 3/4 in. high or whatever the height of the cutout in the Tom Morris block is. This is a great way to make a kit wing straight. I hope this all makes sense, if not let me know and I will send you a sketch.

Eric will, on request, provide the ribs laser-cut to work with Tom's "Lincoln Log" fixtures. Makes life simpler . . .
