Tried out my new scratch built profile stunter today and the son of a gun flew pretty well! Nice corners and after a prop exchange the engine ran nicely. We packed it in after a a few tingles in my hand when a storm front went by.

The engine is a Leo .28. I had a 10X6 on it at first and it couldn't keep the revs up in the maneuvers. The 9X6 fixed it.

#4 sourceThese engines like to rev up. I would try a 9 X 4 or 10 X 4 or even a 10 X 3.

A brief news item from Martin Dilly (U.K.)
We had a bit of subdued F/F Nats last weekend. On the Sunday there was a
thunderstorm and Pete Harris, who was an F1C flyer due to be on the team
with me in Romania next month, was struck by lightning and killed while
cycling down the runway at RAF Barkston Heath after a model. Only
consolation is that he would never have known a thing abouit it but a bit
of a mess for those who found him.
