In my previous post on the topic of spigot venturis, later reproduced in SN, there's a potential area of misunderstanding. I refer to the "SIG 1/16" eyelet". This means the one that has an OD of about 1/16" (it varies, but its around .064) and a length of about .173.

But, if you go to buy some eyelets, it has been pointed out to me that the eyelet packaging actually lists the ID. The eyelet with an ID of 1/16" has an OD of about .087. It may or may not work, but it's much larger than I have ever tried. I think the one I use is the one that says 3/64 ID on the package. But I'm not sure, since I bought them maybe 5-6 years ago. Just buy the three smallest sizes and use the one that has a OD of the small part of about .064 and a length of about .173.
