But I'm only 45 (46 in July). Is that old? Maybe, maybe not. Not sure about the "wise" part either for that matter.

When you see PW's new model fly in Muncie quite soon, how's about you coming back on and raving about it? Your eyes are gonna bug out when you see the flat bottoms, how accurately and consistently this model rotates.

I'm too stupid to comment on the straight lines down the fuselage. Maybe I see them when watching the model fly, maybe I don't. They certainly can't hurt anything...

You would think that the curved bottom would not look so flat on square exits and so on. WRONG!! I think people put WAY to much stock in that whole flat bottom straight line paint scheme impression thing. Simple fact is when a plane exits FLAT on a square you KNOW it when you see it, no matter what the bottom block looks like or the paint scheme. There just inst enough time to see the paint scheme/bottom block and let in make an illusion of a crooked exit. It is so far away at that point and it happens really fast.

Now when you are flying level or inverted and you get alot of time to stare at the model you can see the scheme/block and it could have an effect. But still when a plane, like "The Master's", is on rails it doesnt matter if it were poke-a-dots it will look straight.

The worst thing about doing a straight line down your fuse is when you finish the model and you notice from a distance that the line isnt really straight. That just bites it. Been there done that.

So right Doug!!! I even subscribed to that theory without even building a rounded bottom fuse surface. But, after observing Bill and Paul a couple years,and seeing my own on film I am sure there is no arguing with those bottoms most times right up to the other men on the team agreeing with what you and I are saying. Conceptual crap really, good eyes being the beholder!

Tails do dip as a projection of momentum downhill and thus making CG even more critical for those with good lenses. I have been tail heavy and prop strong to the naked eye with the plane you own.

Glad I got that cleared up I hope i didnt step on anyone's toes, I havent seen video of it, only the photo POSTED HERE of it flying inverted it appears, SLIGHTLY down
