I read the post by "Fernando" asking about being "Unwelcome" and your response. In doing so a question came to mind that I wish you would clarify.
I got the impression from your response that you; Sometimes, always? edit private email messages which go through SSW. I totally agree with you that "Private" emails should not be made part of the forum.
My question is does "Private" mean Private as I perceive the definition of the word or does it mean just not posted on the forum?

John, "Private" is private. Not even I have access to these messages nor would I attempt to read them if I did.
My reference to him was that he had posted the private message on this board and I had edited what he then posted to leave it private. Whether we agree or disagree is not the point. We should still leave even our received private messages private.
With the private message system you must be logged on to send or receive it, and only the person to whom it is sent who is logged on has access to it. So, please take advantage of this system to send messages that are of a private or personal matter.
