Milwaukee contest

Many thanks to the Milwaukee Circlemasters for another great stunt and scale contest.

The weather forcast for Pewaukee was intermittant thunderstorms with 10mph winds. How wrong! We had NO STORMS with very interesting winds. No stunt losses except one Beginner who moved his takeoff spot and hit a fence. Most of the Advanced guys played 'chicken/smart' and passed on the 2nd round. There was at least one scale crash...ouch!

Here are a few pics from the contest. I hope Crist Rigotti has more to post. I flew just after Crist so I was not able to take any photos of his flight.

That last photo is a pretty rare one---Renkar is flying. Not quite as rare as Renkar building!

Oooh, brutal.....to flame our PAMPA membership chairman (and fellow club member) in such a manner.

Now where are those comments (promised with a big grin!) from Mr. Rigotti? Crist, Alan and I are eagerly awaiting your comments (I understand, something about my dear old faithful Mustang) and your pics, of course.

Nice shirt Renkar was wearing....
the site looks far too nice for model flying...a terrific need for even more soccer fields could be filled by ripping the cement/pavement up and putting grass down.
