Brodak 40 vs OS Max 35-S

I read somewhere that the Bordak 40 is a drop in for the OS 35-S.
I used to run the OS 35-S in a lot of planes and still have the planes, but all my 35-S engines are over the hill. If this isn't the case could someone let me know what engines would do that job for me.

Yes, the Brodak is a drop in. The only differants is the cylinder head is a little taller and the needle is of just a small amount. The big differance you`ll find, is that it has more power than the OS35S.It is a very good engine. It will haul about 600 in.plane just fine. Hope this helps.

Yes the B-40 will drop right in, the only thing I had to do was open the needle valve hole a little as the needles are in a diferent place. Almost forgot I also went to a 4 ounce tank, the 3 1/2 just wasn't quite enough.

Great engine, more power and less vibration than the 35S. Hate to admit that as I have 3 GMA reworked 35's that I have allot more in than I could ever get back.

I still have some in stock and Brodak just got some in. I think the big rush is over, so I don't think supply will be a problem now.

However, one never knows.

That's good news, now I won't have any reservations when recommending the engine. Before it was "if you can find one".
