Fueling Syringe

Can anyone tell me where I can get a 6OZ fueling syringe to use with glow fuel? Thanks, Dave Markley

Check the Classifieds for Carl Shoup's 5-ounce syringe. So it's not 6 oz., You're gonna fill the tank and then suck some out anyhow - right?

And Carl's is QUALITY - It'll last a LONG time . . .

I'll second that. Carl makes a cool syringe. The basic syringe is a Monoject veterinary model. Carl machines a new end for the plunger and adds a silicon based gasket. Works very well.

What size was that big syringe Richard Oliver was either selling or talking about a while back? I think they used to use them in R/C Pylon racing.

It is called a Tanker, and it is wayyyyyyy better than a syringe. It has replaceable o-rings and will last forever with suitable replacements changed every other year or so. Everyone in Dallas uses them (most everyone anyway). I love mine.

I think 11oz is the biggest that Monoject makes. I've have to ask the vet next time he's out.

I bought my syringe from a farm supply store. It is 200cc not sure how many ounces that is without doing the math. It will fill my nobler fuel tank and have fuel left over. I also have a 100cc syringe.

A Bimba Air Cylinder makes a good fuel syringe too. You can make a handle to screw on the cylinder shaft. You can buy the cylinders any size your like they are dirt cheap. I have one that is 1.062" diameter 12" long it holds about 1 pint of fuel. Part number 0912-D is 1.062 dia x 12" stroke call 1-800-342-1302 to order. Base price is $14.35 each add $1.20 per inch of stroke. The largest Bimba cylinder in the catalog is 3" bore 32" stroke that would hold about 2 gallons of fuel. The smallest cylinder is 5/16" bore.
