K2-R spot remover

I keep hearing about K2-R spray to absorb oil from inside the engine compartment. Now that I need some, it is nowhere to be found. Is the stuff still on the market? Perhaps I live in a backward state where only toilet bowl cleaner can be purchased.

It used to be available at walmart in Salem. I do not believe it was ever available in the Peoples Republic of Eugene.
If you do a Google you will find it for mail order.

Try Ace Hardware if you have one handy. That's where we get ours. They are cheaper than the internet sites I've looked at. Ace is also on line.

If worst comes to worst, a slurry of Denatured Alcohol and cornstarch works and is a lot less irritating. Much slower action, though.

Or if you are in the South, howabout Everclear and Cornpone?
