Dallas Contest

Would someone please post results about the Father's Day contest in Dallas. I couldn't make it this year but understand there were some exciting moments from mother nature

I was there for Sunday but don't have all of the results. It sounded like the best flying was Saturday afternoon, but the landing of the port-a-potty scored pretty low. This was the first time I have ever had the opportunity to watch Bob G. fly and it was well worth the trip just to watch.

This was a trip well worth it and Phil and the Dallas gang put on an excellent contest, regardless of the Saturday weather.

I know they have the Fox 15 hurl in California, maybe the Potty Toss will be the Texas rage.

UFO SIGHTED IN TEXAS!!!!

RED ALERT!!! A UFO Descended from out of a storm front in the Dallas/Garland Texas area. It emerged from the front of a storm system moving through the area at the time!!! It descended upon a parking lot where it attacked and damaged at least four cars, then proceeded down the parking area where it attempted to blend in with the local Port-a-potties. The site was near the Garland Road and LBJ Freeway (I-635).
Unfortunately there were few if any photos taken of the object, but it was witnessed by several people. The object was similar to a cube but with a flat end and had a fairly large access hatch at one side. Near the hatch side was w sign that said OPEN ???? probably an enticement to get unsuspecting earthlings to enter and be ????.
No lifeforms were noted.

I'd like to see some pictures of the contest, too! Didn't get a chance to take any as I was busy doing "contest stuff". Linda Bob got a few shots with the SLR (she was doing "contest stuff", too)but our scanner is on the fritz. Marvin, as a special kind of guy, a newsletter has been sent to you with a picture of the "blue monster". One of my priorities is to propose the establishment of a club officer position of "Official Photographer" to rectify this situation. Best regards, dale g
