Never thought I would ever be interested in 1/2A stunt, but with the new crowd, time, space, etc., I am making some of those mini marvels now. The problem is...I can not find any source for most of those small parts. Perfect tanks, used to clutter the bench, now narry a hobby shop here has anything but, you know, RC cars and planes. I looked at Sig and didn't see anything, Brodak and the like. Maybe I am just looking in the wrong area. Assistance at finding a source for the small CL parts would be appreciated.
SIG and Brodak catalogs both have 1/2A stuff. Not a lot, but enough for most needs. Hope this helps.

If I were in your position I would pull a search for anything by Designman, Larry Renger. It'll take hours to go through all of it, the guy is a total nut, ya know, but he is always coming up with neat gadgets and widgets for the small-bore stuff.

my favorite 1/2A tanks are just balloons. I ran a thread on how to make them recently. Do a search. Be sure to spell "balloon" correctly.
Otherwise, as mentioned by John Wright, you can use most of the "trial and travel" size plastic bottles as tanks. See my article "Tanks fer Nuttin'" in Flying Models a couple of years ago.
My favorite handle is the one that I designed for RSM. It weighs 1/2oz, and is not only very adjustable, it has variable "exponential" control to help tame those unflapped 1/2As.
BTW if you have larger hands, RSM sells the same handle scaled up 25% for use with up to .25 size planes. The larger handle is nearly as light as the small one.
Brodak stocks .008 cable. I have my own personal supply of .008 solid, and don't know off hand where you could get it. I got a big reel through RSM, perhaps he stocks it now (or could be persuaded, since he has 1/2A and up to .15 size planes for which it is legal)

Larry's 1/2A handle is a very clever design. I wish I had known about the larger handle, but I suspect the restricted access will make me a more "sensitive" flier. It may even help!
