Windy's Engine Mount Pads

Jim Goss showed me the Windy engine mount pad installation in his Humongous. He had drilled an extra hole in each component for use with .40 size engines, saying he didn't like the extra open space left when clamping smaller than .60 size lugs, in case the top lug might bend.

Opinions on using these pads for .40 size engines, either stock or redrilled?
