New K&B epoxy, old K&B epoxy..compatible..?

Can I safely mix, or over coat with old over new or vice versa..?

Definitely cannot mix the two! Unless you enjoy sticky messes, of course. Ultrapoxy works pretty well, but it's a distinctly different animal from the others. And the catalyst is very dark even when new and definitely dulls the colors. "White" is white in name only - closer to eggshell.

If you have a bunch of old K&B Superpoxy or HobbyPoxy colors, with no catalyst, KlassKote catalyst is reported to be compatible with either. I haven't tried it myself, however.

No problem with any of the epoxies applied over the other in any order. This isn't like dope - one coat doesn't chemically or physically alter the previous coat in any meaningful way.

The previous K&B epoxy had a warning on the label that said it was for radio control models only. I never told anybody until now, but I surreptitiously used it on control line and free flight models. It seemed to work OK, and nobody ever challenged me on it.
