I'm amazed!

I purloined the Pathfinder ARC that John Brodak had on display at his fly-in. I Have a great flying, a bit shopworn Pathfinder on my rack that I built the first year that the kit was available.

I told John that I would build his ARC prototype and set it up with a clone of the Randy Smith Magnum .40 that is original and that we could fly them side by side .......

I am simply astounded at the fit and finish or the ARC! The pieces are laser cut and then assembled in a jig.....super accurate!

More impressive, I think, is the fit of the joints and stuff like the cap strips and butting of the leading edge sheeting!

I am sure that I certainly cannot build this accurately, and would compair the fit and finish with the very best of the Bob Hunt wings.....simply amazing!!!

I have a couple of photos and may do a short review for STUNT NEWS, but right now the thing is supurb!

Peabody, Gotta say that you and Bob Z really know how to really push my button. I keep hearing and seeing a lot on these planes but no delivery yet. Now the first run of planes arn't supposed to be here till July and God knows when the next 3 will make it. Flying season will be over at this rate.
Money to spend and no place to spend it.Well it sounds good anyhow.

I too was surprised and pleased with the quality of the ARC planes. I assembled the Bi-Slob and delivered it to the Fly-in last week. Many people commented positively. I still have the prototypes for the Oriental, Cardinal and P-40 ARC's in my shop and they too are exceptional. I have not seen a single missaligned part or the slightest warp anywhere. I would not be surprised if many people buy these gems just to fit the wings and tail feathers to their own original fuselage designs.
Whenever I go to an event, I bring the Oriental and Cardinal (ARFs) with me and anyone is wellcome to test fly both.
