Engine and Propeller

Next attached a 20 ft long 2x6 board to the top of a post so it would spin like a helicoper blade. The post was 4 ft. deep in the ground. I mounted the 2 cycle gas engine with the propeller to one end of the 2x6 board. I used a brick as a counter balance on the other end of the board. I started the engine and let it go and it picked up speed faster and faster. After a few seconds the engine was spinning so fast it was a blure. It looked like a helicopter trying to take off in the back yard. WOW, there is no way to get it stopped now. "GET BACK." It ran for about 20 minutes, then ran out of gas.

Next I built an airplane from some scrap 1/4" plywood that I had in the garage. I mounted the engine to the airplane and got it balanced. I put a trim tab on one wing to count the torque of the prop. The airplane sets on a dolly so the airplane can take off without wheels. I took the airplane out to the edge of town on an old section of road with a dead end. I figured I would have to experement a few times to try and get the trim tab and tail adjusted correctly to make the airplane fly straight and level without crashing. I started the engine and let it go. It went down the highway picking up speed but not lifting off. Finally after about 200' it lifted off and left the wheels on the road. It climbed at a very slow rate of about 1 foot per 100 feet. Not bad for the first try. I watched the airplane as it flew and figured it would turn to the left or right in a minute and crash but it didn't. The airplane flew out of sight and was never seen again.

He could have used those tablets to convert water to gas, and added those special 1950's carb jets to get 120 MPG. Either way I think is bogus because anyone knows you have to use aircraft grade birch plywood or it won't fly, standard fir will only float, it will not fly.

Uh, don't try this at home kids. We're trained professionals...

And speaking even more of the insurance issue, how's your life insurance? A guy say age 40 with two kids, a non working spouse and the normal bills, making $50K a year will need around $1 million in immediate death benefits to maintain his families life style after he has gone to his reward in a most spectacular manner.

PS. Don't tell the insurance company about your bike.
