Hi Jose,
When I first came back into the hobby about 4 years ago, I wrote to Windy telling him about myself and the eight year old guy(you),and the 9 year old guy(me),and our past. I did not tell him your name. Quite some time later, I received a Windy video with some dorky guy with a red Patternmaster on it and I went into shock. I raced upstairs to check my Pampa directory and low and behold, there was your name.

My plan was to visit New York and offer to launch your plane without you knowing who I was ( I am very handsome; alright, better looking then Bob Zambelli). I actually got within visual distance of the Unisphere, but I was visitng a very sick relative and it was during the week. I had to return to California immediately. Windy has been there with me, especially the Backfire development, right from the very beginning. The picture in his shop of the red wood framed Spitfire is mine.

I told the west coast boys here that I was going to kick Kenny Stevens a#$%^* for beating my pal at the Nat's.

Hi Milton and my mom liked you more. Just to bring you up to date. Have 30 + years passed. I can’t believe its you! By the way you could not recognize the ADONIS body on video. I have been working with a vacuum bagging system using carbon fiber and female molds. My Impactmasters are coming out under 64 oz. I have a great deal of interest in the lasers you mentioned in the Toc Thread. I’m looking for a semi scale aerobatic model in the 60 size to mold.

A little history, I stopped building from 77 to83 upon the birth of my son (an RC flyer I tried). I built my first control line airplane a TUTOR in 84 I attended the Worlds that year in Chekapee, MA and at the Nats that year. In 90 I placed 5th in advance at the Nats. In 1991 I competed in open 30 something, 92 I led every round in advance but chipped a prop the night before finals. I had to fly my back up airplane and came in third. From 95 to 2002 coached boys basketball, AAU travel teams. One of my players was chosen #33 in the NBA draft last night (Peter Ramos). 2 more players to follow. Back to stunt, I started competing in advanced at the Nats in 2000, that year motor over under run it was a disaster, no flights prior to the competition came in 25th. In 2001 again new pattern master Big Jim ST60 no flights prior to nats (I was coaching basketball) came in 19th ran out of fuel first loop of cloverleaf. In 2002 same senario brand new PM60 two flights in flushing next day left for nats worked hard all week and managed a second to Kenny, after first round I was down 3 points we both had the same flight number (10) last flight my score was posted first I, went ahead by 4 points the waiting was tough and they posted kennys score I trounced by 40 points . since we flew at the same time I was able wile waiting for motor shut off I wached Kenny he put up a great flight. Like any good flyer I thought I had won. In 2003 I moved up to expert my goal was the top 20 and beat gozilla a personal bet. Came in 25th on my last flight with mutch wind I bounced and bounced and bounced my landing for this mishap could have been close to my goal . In 2004 I built a ST46 all composite model 54 oz. A SV22 with a PA 65 63 oz, A PM ST60 65 oz one of these airplanes or one of my 4 patternmasters hope to deside soon will be taken to the nats there is nothing like being prepared.

Back to the development fun stuff currently I have female fuselage molds for the PM60, walkers, impact , SV22 LJ 40/46 Female wing molds for the Impact Patternmaster and LJ Stabilers female mold for the SV22,and Patternmaster. The walker impact has a flat tail foam core with carbon fiber vacuum bagged in mylar sandwich it comes out flat with glass finish only finish is at leading edge 3/8th balsa rounded.

The wings are a takeoff on the windys carbon fiber system 1/4 panels clam shells then to 1/2 make two and join like a foam wing more to follow send email with my sons help i will post pictures.
