The boys can hardly wait. They are counting the days just like it is Christmas. We are going to watch, not to fly. (Still waiting to do that first loop.)
We are looking forward to seeing the Top Guns of C/L. We also hope to take some photos, and bring home some ideas. And we hope to put some faces on some screen names.

I am a retread, - I did C/L in my youth and did not know what I was doing then other then having fun. And not much has changed.

I hope to roll in Wednesday, July 7th, or the 8th......Ramada will be home for a bit......
The Beginner and Intermediate events will be Sunday, July 11th, with OTS and Classic on Monday, and then the Nats triple contest beginning Tuesday with appearance judging.

The appearance judging for this year's NATS is on Monday, not Tuesday. The time is 2 PM but the place is yet to be announced per the May/June issue of Stunt News.

Hi Shareen, With appearance judging on Monday how will that affect Old Time and Classic. Will we be able to fly and still have time to get our Open models to the undisclosed location for appearance judging? Thanks, see you in a couple of weeks, Bob

Unfortunately I won't make it there until Sunday afternoon the 11th.
Hope to get a couple of flights in before dark that day. I have to attend my son's wedding on the 10th and participate as best man or I would be there earlier Sunday.

Cool. I'd like to meet you guys. I'm the old guy with the orange and white stunt plane with the crooked checkerboard at the wing root and the combat planes with shutoffs that don't work.

If you have to do 2 level laps between each manouver... Why doesnt anyone do 2 level laps between starting and takeoff??

You forgot to mention the gold plated tank vent tubing.

I really want to go, but it's now half a planet away rather than a two hour drive. Would've been nice to go early and stay for the World Champs as well.

I can't wait for the nats either, its the next contest for me. I went last year and it was fun. I'm flying in Intermediate Pampa on Sunday. I might fly in old time, don't know yet.

If you guys get a chance, come down the hill and check out us at the Carrier Circles. You might be surprised as to how many of us fly stunt too. We just are a bit busy that week to do both.
I've also found out that stunt has helped my Carrier flying and Carrier Flying has helped my stunt flying.
