Brodak 40 C/L engine

Have read much about the pro's and con's of this dedicated C/L engine but have never actually seen one, can anyone post a pic or two of this unit. Much obliged.

I read the concerns of others on the quality of the assembly of this motor and I have found this one to be tight and properly assembled. This is not an opinion. It is light and priced reasonable. If this motor was not assembled properly I would not consider it a problem, I would just simply return it. The importer of this motor stands behind this product and wants the customer to be happy. It is his business.

I have a Brodak 40 and broke it in on a test stand.It now lives in my built up Oriental.It is a great running engine with a great 4-2-4 break and good power.Very easy on fuel once it is broke in.I am running stock needle assembly and stock muffler with Coopers control line blend fuel 10% Nitro- 23% oil 50-50.Great fuel and a great little engine.

Brodak and Randy Smith's engines are most likely
the only people who are going to work long and hard to make
sure the customer is happy, you could add Fox too.

Cox, OS and the others I'm sure are okay but again, the above
mentioned guys are thinking about us too.

You can add Ro-Jett (Richard Oliver) and Stuka (Leonard Neumann) to the list also. I have had opportunity to work with Richard and Len found them to be fair and honest. We are fortunate to have these people working for us in the stunt world. I'm sure there are many others also.

GX Combat guys have discovered this engine as well! Apparently, they like the fact that the engine is very light, inexpensive and very powerful. They spin 8x4, 8x5 APC at crazy RPMS! The travesty of it all!!!!
