Plates are 3/32 thick. Material is 6061-T6 aluminum alloy. Screws are 4-40 X 100 degree flat head. Engine is offset to the front, you can swap sides with the plates and have the motor more to the rear if you wish. I made 3 sets of plates and drilled each set for a different engine all with the spinner back plate in the same spot so I can swap engines and still have the spinner line up line up with the fuse. Motor shown is a OS LA40.

Edit: Hi Steve, I've been using the same setup on my ST 46 for the passed 3 years and all is still well. I think these newer motors actually run a little smoother than the ST 46. You will definitly have problems if you down grade the quality of the aluminum. Time will tell.

Also looks like the 3/32" material would be a bit light for a .40. I used 3/16 on my Magnum .25. Steve
