Just got in from Muncie!

Arron, and I, just returned from Muncie and the F2B WCs. If was really exciting to see the various Country's fliers compete and be able to bench fly with many of them.
CONGRATULATIONS TO BILL *The Man* WERWAGE!!!!! A 32 year separation between wearing the crown. That has to say something about the man.
A great big congratulations to our other World (Junior) Champion, Robbie Gruber. A more derserving young man you will be hard pressed to find, if you could! And he was really pushed by the fine young man from the Chech Republic. Watching the three Juniors fight it out was truly a pleasure.
And to Ted and Paul, everyone congratulates you for the time and effort you dedicated to the competition. I am sure that, being the outstanding competitors that you both are, you would have loved to have posted higher finishes. I hope you can find gratification in being the TEAM, along with all the support group members, that got it all back, at least for now, where the stunt world's crown really belongs. The USA!
In it's own way, this had a stange resembalance to the *Miracle* hockey team of the Olympics. Those that were there know what I mean.
Great job ALL the competitors who flew in the F2B Championships!
Now that I have been up for a little over 24 hours, I think I will try and get some sleep. It will be hard to do so for a *little* while longer.

Yep, # 1 indivdual and #1 team is a wonderful achievement! Well done you guys, especially Bill. A really first class effort. A w/champs is a really, really tough contest, and the toughest prevail.
I, for one, salute the stars & stripes!

And, if no one else noticed, the US F2A team won 3rd team, well done Jim Booker, Will Naeumura, Todd Ryan & Scott Matson.

An observation, from a distance - happy to be corrected by anyone who was there: this hobby of ours seems to have a great future - Rob Gruber is a worthy junior champion, and note Remi Beringer in 3rd - only a few years ago he won junior w/champ, I figure that he is only 21/22, how good is that for the future of our sport?

The GeeBee Sportster is really neat.
He said he painted it with two part car paint.
Remi can really fly!

Gilbert flew the Twin Saito 40 racer.

Hopefully I can get some pictures up soon

BILLY was awesome, his third flight was so clutch, just watching him and getting to spend some time with him was an honor.

THE NATS WILL BE GREAT!!!!

I'm sure Muncie 2004 was something special. Hope to read a lot about it here and in Stuntnews..

I hope to see Beringers Twin stunter in Verviers, Belgium ìn the beginning of August. I might even compete against it..

By the way do you know where the next C/L World Championships will be organised?

Hi Paul,

If I am not mistaken, the 2006 CL WC are to be held in Spain.

Look out for Remi! He is flying real good. Gilbert's Caudron twin looked fabulous in the air. I had a couple conversations with Mrs. Beringer, and the entire family was very nice!

I doubt I will be traveling for about 4 1/2 more years. That is when everything will be paid off, and I should be retired!!!
