3 Blade Prop to try

If you want to try a 3 blade prop take a look at the Master Airscrew 10/7. I repitched on to ~4in. pitch(12 deg. at the 3 in radius) with a heat gun and a simple jig. Ran pretty darn well on an LA46. Seemed to have more pull up high but kept the same lap speeds as an 11/4.

My pix never show up well here for some reason. Looks fine in Paint Shop and the browser. Oh well.

You really need to resize the picture, it's too wide for the screen, and me with a 19" monitor. Leonard recommends 650 pixel width. That works, but sometimes there seems to be an advantage to reduce it more, like 400 or 500 pixel width, which allows less compression, for a picture of an engine, tank, bellcrank, etc.

I don't know your software, but if you have MS Photo Editor (comes with MS Office), I can help. Create a folder on your desktop, lable it "Test Photos" or similar. Save a picture to that folder, then work on it, creating new versions, while keeping the original untouched. Use the same title, but add a % in front for version 1, %% for v.2, etc. Keep trying, try all the buttons. Look for "more" buttons.

Then, you can go back and start over, if you gotta. Push the toolbar buttons and look for words like "resize". They don't make it easy, 'cause that would cut out the market for "XXXX For Dummies" books. Steve

The picture in my folder says it is 500x375, 28kb, and 16million colors, so go figure.

Anyway, give the prop a try. You might like it.

The 500 x 375 may be mm or something other than pixels? Steve
