ID a FOX

I have an old Fox engine and I don't know what it is. It is slightly larger than a .35 stunt, has an angled glow plug, the venturi is round and cut at a steep angle, the needle valve is like the one used in the Fox .40. It is old enough not to be set up for a muffler and I am using a strap on. It has LOTS of power. I'm guessing it's a combat engine but I have no idea really. I aquired this engine about a year ago and I don't think it had ever been run. Anybody have a guess.

PHOTO would help......Maybe it's a FOX 36.

Probably a .36 or .29 if stamped on the mounting lug.

Are the following items correct.

Looking from the front/back the head is wider at the bottom than top. The fins on the case decrease in diameter below the head. Engine uses brass bushing like the 35.

If so its the 36 which is a "sport" engine not combat, doesn't have as good a 4-2 break as the 35. Treat like a 35 only the oil requirement isn't as high.

Bet it looks like this 29 version over on the bay
