John Jordan brought his original design Tucano to the NATs so that I could photograph it. I was blown away. This airplane would have been a contender for the Concours Trophy.

Specifications:
Span 62"
Weight 73 ozs
Engine Double Star 60
Spring shocks on all three gears
Molded balsa fuselage
Molded fiberglass cowling
Movable rudder

John is an Intermediate flyer and a Master builder from Kettering, Ohio.

Beautiful.

John had this plane at Brodaks a couple weeks ago. It was
the talk of Carmichaels, PA.

He did his research too. I know Al has talked to him about doing an article on the "Tucano", can't wait to read more about it.

I talked to John about this plane last year at Brodak's Fly In while he was building it. Saw it at Brodak's this year, and it is awesome!
He only had a few flights before Brodak's, and he was working on trimming it. It looks super.
Can't wait to see his next plane!
