Boy, it's been awfully quiet here today. I thought a photo might perk things up a bit.
It's a slide (excuse the dust particles) that I took many, many years ago at the Nats when they were at the Willow Grove Naval Air Staion in PA. It was probably in the late fifties. ??
Obviously it's Bill Werwage's USA1, but what makes it special, is how he chose to display it. This guy sure has nice "models" and good taste.

This year was also either the first or at least one of the first years that Lou McFarland flew his Shark 45. Man, it was impressive!!!! It looked so huge compared to all the 35 sized ships.
