On installations where the uniflow vent is used for muffler pressure and is inside the fuselage like on a rear exhaust engine, How do you fill the tank? My Brodak tank has only three tubes: fuel pick up, uniflow vent and over flow vent. With an exposed muffler it's easy to pull the uniflow vent line off the muffler and fill from there. But, with the entire system enclosed???

Interesting problem...
Unless keeping the exterior pristine is a major concern, I would find a less obvious place to run two tubes through the fuselage. Short tubes, best soldered to a small brass plate... Purpose: dependable hard mount to interior of fuselage for normal fuel line forming a small U-tube on the exterior.
For fueling, slip the engine-side (or pipe-side) of the U off. That makes the 'other' side the one feeding to the tank. Replacing the tube re-establishes the original flow path -- with only a slight detour.

#2 sourceWhen we first ran a piped set up, we copied the set ups for fuel lines we had seen at the NATS. A three tube manifold was made from brass tubing and shim stock. The two ends were for the pipe pressure, looped like Lou said, and the middle one was the overflow.

Dee Rice solved this years ago.The original Oriental article described his method,which was ,as I recall simply a means of applying KISS principles.
(1)Unplug the overflow.
(2)Connect the fueling source to the vent.
(3)Stand the airplane on it's nose.
(4)Fuel until fuel comes out of the venturi.
(5)Stop fueling.
(6)Disconnect.
(&)Plug the overflow.
