I wonder if the AMA Newsletter will finally post the scores in the Saturday edition, or just show the scores for the Fly-Off? Any bets?

Someone should have bet for NO coverage. There is no CLPA coverage in the esteemed AMA Nats Newsletter.

Plenty of helicopters and R/C combat too.

Are you really surprised? I'm not.

Bill

I build more planes than I fly, collect more engines than I'll ever use. That about says it, right?

I have to defend the newsletter here. Having been a newletter editor a long time ago, you can only print news that is available. So has anyone there submitted an article on CLPA at the NATS?? Same for the Stunt News. It doesn't print itself. Nuff said.

Ty,

I'm sure you didn't mean to tell me and others to shut up with the "nuff said" sign off. Unless of course you forgot to tell us that you know for a fact that the stunt administrators did not provide the newsletter editors with the scores. Would you please confirm what you mean?

Hi Chris. I wasn't telling anyone to "shut up". I asked a question. Has anyone even bothered to submit anything for them to print about the CLPA part of the Nats??? I can't remember how many times I've seen section editors in Stunt News begging for news or items to put in SN and when I was a newsletter editor I always heard, "how come you didn't
mention thus and so in the newsletter?" Simple, I didn't know about it. Mark Twain got away with false stories in the Virgina City news, but I really doubt anyone could with an item about CLPA in SN or the AMA newsletter if it were false. The news does not create itself. So, DID anyone submit anything to them? I really doubt it.

Ty,
If you are right about that it will come to me as a bit of a shock. Carrier and combat and speed sure were covered. Someone got photos to the editor of people flying stunt. It makes me wonder. If PAMPA wasn't passing the info to the AMA, I would like to know why not. There surely was no other way to find out the results besides like interested individuals.
