I saw the thread concerning the Double Star engines and since I own one contacted Tom Dixon, the US distributor of Double Star engines. The fact is Double Star engines and parts will continue to be available. Tom Dixon currently has a few of each model in stock now. Tom said that the Double Star manufacturer is also working on some new models and upgrades and he would be interested in hearing from the control line community as to what type of engines and products you would like to see Double Star produce.
