Who sells plans for the Prowler and the Patternmaster?

I believe Mike Rogers handles the Patternmaster stuff for Big Jim Greenaway who is the designer. I would contact Bob Hunt first for the Prowler stuff. Mike Rogers also has plans for the ST46 Patternmaster which he developed. Mike actually competed at a past FAI team trials with this plane. It had a wicked corner.

Build yourself a Prowler for sure! You might even be able to turn up a kit. This is the place to ask.

I have long maintained that it is the best profile stunter ever.

I still have mine in flyable condition.

What engine(s) did you use? Have a Prowler in "limbo" and have considered a Fox 35, OS-32F, and recently, a B-40.

We had very good results with an OS 32F in a Prowler. Excellent combo, and it was only of moderately light weight. In other words, the OS 32 had good power for the plane.

The original Prowler prototypes that Steve Buso & Scott Smith were flying in upstate New York were powered by Fox 35s. Scott later switched to a Randy Smith tuned OS 32F. This was the combination I flew at Scott's Coxackie, NY contest two years in a row. I'd just show up with my handle and fly Scott's plane in Expert Profile. (Scott's a very cool guy.)

Inspired by the performance of this combination, I finally built one for myself, just making cosmetic changes to the ship. I motored it up with an old iron-piston OS 40FP. This ship sat unfinished for many years while I was inactive in the hobby.

I finished this ship a couple of years ago and used it for two seasons - even winning a contest with it against some serious pro-stunt equipment.

Late last year PAMPA's webmaster Steve Yampolsky's flew it - ask him how he liked it!

Keep it light - under 40oz is not hard to achieve if you don't try to kill it with paint. I'd opt for your Brodak 40, or an FP. The LA has it's share of fans, too, but both the B40 and FP40 are lighter.

The key to this ship is it's small size and big power. It's very forgiving of a beginner's less than delicate touch, but can also be flown very aggressively by an Expert.
