Bill Rich at the NATS?

I havn't seen Bill Rich's name in any of the NATS reports.If he wasn't there,it would be the first he has missed in many years. Anybody know?

Hello Gary,
He unfortunately was going through By-Pass Surgery during the events in Muncie. Understand he's doing fine and if you need more info call Randy Smith who was in constant contact with him when we were in Muncie.

Bypass surgery? Bob, you serious? I know he was going to miss flying the nats due to a broken ankle earlier, as he was still working out the physical therapy aspect. I spoke, and emailed with him right before the nats he knew he would not be going because of the ankle. Bill has already been laid up off his feet long enough & I think cabin fever was starting to set in, can't imagine how he feels about this now. Need to find out how he's doing...

They gave us several updates on Bill during the event. Get well soon Bill, everyone missed ya.

Thanks Bob, Curt, Eric,Bill is one of the really nice guys in our sport. I knew it must be something serious to keep him from participating.

Has anyone heard any more about Bill ?? I went through this two years ago and I know how he is feeling..
Any way to get a "Get Well" message to him????

Bill's surgery went very well and ha has been at home recouping for many days now.
He can't wait to get back to the flying circle. He said to tell everyone hello, and he will be back soon
