Kudos to Bill Lee for CLWC Success

A round of applause for Bill Lee's organization and management of the World Champs. Two yrs plus of work and sacrifice in 12 different languages. It was great. If you didn't see any of the other events other than stunt you missed out. The Team Race was excellent ... a new world record. The combat was fantastic. The speed was ... well 35k rpm is really neat. The stunt was excellent ... they were all very good flyers ... If you missed it you missed a good contest, a showcase of controlline events.

Back at the motel in the evenings I watched womens lumberjack log rolling on TV. OK Bill, your next assignment is to get FAI CL events on Wide World of Sports. You can do it.

I flew in the WC and I heartily endorse all the comments made.
Bill and Team did a great Job.
Oh, by the way 35k is what combat engines do down wind, mine run about 31-32k on the ground, audio taching reveals 35k airborne.
An F2A does 40-43K, yep it is a neat noise!
