Posilock jig system - still made?

I was browsing through the Stunt News published int the late 1990's (like 1998-1999) and came across several full-page ads showing a machined aluminum adjustable jig system, made by POSILOCK out of Las Vegas, NV. A package of 16 clamps for $69 + S/H.
A Google search brought up some un-related companies / products with the same name.

Does anyone know whether this is still available? What's the name behind this cottage business? Has anyone used it (and if yes, with what results)?

I never bought one, but liked the general idea and machined the parts to make my own. Sort of a combination of the Pos-i-lock and Tom's Lincoln Log idea.

Works well.

So it will be a piece of cake to make a set for me too, right?

I saw a picture of your machined jig on this forum Randy, and it is indeed VERY nice. I would assume it would be difficult is not impractical to make something like that mass produced.

Well, when I made mine, I made enough uprights and chocks to jig an entire plane at once. That's 38 uprights, 56 standard chocks and 20 fuse chocks. Along with this now is a new base made from a chunk of 4'x 6' x 1.25" melanite. So there are 38 positions set up with 5 holes with brass inserts per position (that's a 190 10x24 brass inserts). It ah, took awhile to precision drill the holes and put in the inserts. The uprights are machined from some 6", 90 degree aluminum angle stock and each one takes about an hour with my non-cnc mill, a lot of that time with jig setup. I probably have about 200 hours in building the jig pieces and the base.

Let's just say, I love the thing, but I'm not too interested in mass production.

POSILOCK out of Las Vegas went out of business or has just vanished
and so has the company aero 95th squadron, either way

I think you mean this one ?? I have two sets thats why there are so many pcs. there

although this is my first time this is out of the bag and first time using this type of jig
I will be selling them once I am done. (hint, hint)
