This is not a new subject, but a lot of new members as well as a many of old members have not filled out their profiles. If we knew where everyone lived, maybe more of us could get together, and do a little flying. Heck, some of us are probably neighbors, and don't even know it! If you haven't already done so, please go into your profile an add your city and state.

Maybe I'm crosseyed and blind, but I see no link to update your profile.

Phil,

At the top of the Topic Listing Page click on "User Menu". On the left hand side of the page that comes up click on "Edit Your Profile". You will know what to do with the page that then comes up.

I couldn't agree more. I find it a bit discouraging corresponding with a lot of anonymous nonentities. I feel at least I want to be able to find out who I'm talking to. If a guy won't even reveal his name, (as is the case in a lot of profiles) does he have something to hide? It suits me to go under the name "Rustler" for commercial reasons, but at least I'm up front with who I really am.

I agree too. I thought that Len had said at one time that the profile was going to be required. Certainly, the town and state shouldn't be a problem.

Exactly so. I have noticed a few posts by folks that don't even have the profile icon at the top right of their post, and one by a non- member. Not sure how that can be done, but I'd put the ixnay on it, and in fact PM'd Leonard about it. It takes Leonard's time to police this, and I'm sure he isn't happy to have to do it. I think putting your real first & last name, city, state and country in the profile is a reasonable thing to do. It hasn't caused me any sleepless nights in 4 years or so. Steve
