Flight Characteristics. CRAP!!
I know form the get go it is tail heavy so I am ready for that. What I was not ready for was what I call the dreaded "DOUBLE TURN" You give it input and half way through the turn it stalls and falls then completes the turn. I was not happy seeing as how I have been working on this since January 27 2001. I added nose weight and tip weight. It was more flyable with the nose weight but the "Double Turn" was still there. I have always been under the impression that this occurs when the plane is too heavy. There is another flier here who built the exact same plane(kit) and it weighs 60oz and flys great. I am sure the leadouts are way to far forward and the tip weight issue is way off. Can this cause the double turn?
If anyone out there has ever trimmed this out of a plane please help me. I am really dissappointed I hope I can straighten it out.
