Michigan Control Line Championships Aug 14-15

August 14-15 The Signal Seekers RC Club will again host the Michigan CL Championships at the club field in Westland Michigan.

Events:
Saturday Clasic and OTS, no skill levels.
Sunday: Pampa Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Expert.

Awards to third and we will have lunch free on the field for contestants.

I will host a Wiener Roast at my home Saturday evening after flying. Fun flying is possible so bring along those 1/2A ships and old profiles, the field is rough so don't fly you contest models. I have freindly neighbors that enjoy watching me fly so they should really enjoy this too.

Remember the reduced turn out last year due to us not having power in the area? Some of our friends from PA and OH did not come due to lack of water, ice, power, gas etc......

Hoping for better power conditions this year.

I can't promise electrical service will be up to snuff, but I'm sure our local fly-boys will put in some electifying flights this year!!

And the signal seekers field is is putting green condition--simply fantastic.

Putting Green? What the heck is a Putting Green? First it was a Crash Grid and not it's a putting Green. BTW Curt you flying OTS this year?

THe field looks like a good golf putting-green.

If I don't get to color on the new plane, I might not be flying anything!

I still need to finish the Van Loo Chip first. THen I plan to do a .21 sport speed job.

Just moving this up, we're only a few weeks out.

This is a nice contest.

Phil Spillman & I will be there Fri. late after noon.

Any flying take place Fri.? I've never been there with time to fly on Fri.

Hi Pat!!

Glad to hear you and Phil are coming. Normally I set up the field on Friday night. Since we use the RC field for the CL contest we need to paint the circles etc. However, If you want to come out I'm sure there will probably be time to get in some flying. I've bought a new paint cart that will make the task much easier on my back as well a speed things up.

Don't forget the Weener roast Saturday night!
