Swap Meet or Contests near Tennessee?

My 12 year old son wants me to take him to a contest this year. Lost year we missed all the contests because we found out about them a week or two after they were over. We also want to go to some swap meets. Are there any Swap Meets or Contest in Alabama or Kentucky, Chattnooga, Knoxville, Nashville area. How can we find out about these events. Are they listed online some place???
