Folks, if you are planning on attending the 2005 KOI in January, we suggest you reserve your room very soon. The KOI is scheduled for Jan. 14 thru 16 (see previous post for details), however we have learned that motel rooms are going fast due to the Super Bowl. We are not sure why rooms are being booked up three weeks prior to the Super Bowl, but they are.

The Days Inn at Lane Ave. and Interstate 10 (904 786-0500) has plenty of rooms available right now, but they will not last long. If these rooms fill up, it may be necessary to go further west on I10 or south on I95 to find a room.

Motel Rooms "KOI"

I finally got my hair straighten out from the NOOREASTER winds at the Rebel Rally. Well, I decided to take another chance with Jacksonville weather for CL Flying. I registered at the Holiday end and got the same room as I had during the Rebel Rally. Holiday end must have turned loose the block rooms that were being held because I did not have any trouble getting a room at the end.

Hey X47 flyers I'll see you in January.

Marshall Busby, my wife said to tell your Mrs. that she has mastered the freeway systems, I think?, and she knows where all the flee markets can be found, I think? I better load my GPS system!
