Metrolina Control Line Society would like to invite all of you to their spring contest on June 3 & 4, 2006 at Waymer Field in Huntersville, NC. (stunt & scale). Field is available Friday June 2nd. for practice.

NOTE there is no racing this year.Combat is a maybe as the parks dept has done a lot of work and the grass area is dirt and rocks.If you are coming for combat only check first.

Have received several emails from sonny williams regarding the progress on the combat area and it is progressing well.
Rocks have been removed by the parks dept and grass planted with another round of rock removal planned for this week.
With this progress I have decides to have combat this spring.

COMBAT
Speed limit & 1/2a, at Hubtersville, NC June 3rd(4th).
Double or triple elimination format for Speed limit depending on the no. of entries.
You must lose 2 or 3 times to be eliminated from placing first.
Saturday June 3rd will be Speed Limit (74.99) for any airplane, engine or fuel system. Line size will be .018 dia to try to reduce flyaways.
Depending on the number of entries we will run an unofficial 1/2a after the Seed Limit event or on Sunday morning. The 1/2a event (Double Elimination) will be run on 42 foot .012dia lines and allow up to .061 engines. 5$ entry and winner takes all.
