can't post a 640x480 jpeg. remote uploading denied??

The size is too large, Ed. The 640 x 480 is just fine, but you need to compress the JPEG at least 50%. You can go to 70% op even 80% compression and not tell it on the screen.

If you don't have a utility to compress the picture, send it to me by e-mail and I will compress it for you and return it to you.

Sorry, Ed, I hit the edit button instead of the reply button and ended up editing your message (I put it back).

What did you do when you tried to post? At the bottom of the message box is the Attachment area where it says "click here to choose your file." If you do this then you will get a pop-up where you click on your file to upload. Are you getting that? If not, I am guessing you either have a pop-up filter (hold down the shift key) or a firewall that is blocking access.

Tell me what you are doing and what is going wrong.

I did all the things that I have in the past and it locks me out .

I just tried apicture that I have used in the past and it didn't work,I am going to drop the firewall and see what happens

Ok that was the problem. I have used a pop up stopper for a long time and I must hold down the Ctrl to get the down load page to open and that is what I did, BUT I needed to hold it down to upload also!
Thats new , I updated no long ago and I didn't need to hold the key down the second time with the old version. I bet this is a common problem.Let others know about it. Thanks Ed Ruane
