Very Curious!

About ten PM, I saw an advertisement from Dick Byron in the Classified Forum. He can't type. Everything is in caps. So his own URL is no good. I wrote that and said to use lower case. Also advised about net traditions that CAPS is screaming.

It's after midnight and someone else also added a comment an hour later (Dennis). But neither his reply nor mine show up any longer.

Simple, Bill, the Classifieds section is there to allow people to list and sell stuff, not to "educate" them on proper forum ediquette (that is my job). Since your post wasn't pertinent to the ad, and the following response was merely saying it was working fine for him, I deleted both. There is a private message feature on the forum (and even e-mail) that is available to us if we need to communicate with someone to offer them help with their posting. That is one of the advantages of requiring people to log in. We can now use these features that are available to us.

Lets stick with the purpose for which each individual forum was created.
