How do I change my user name (author) from that which I am presently using, and will my history still be retained.

The software is set up purposely so that people cannot change their user name and I cannot modify that. The only way to change the name is to set up a new account with the new name and then delete the old name, but you would lose your history.
Sorry, but that is the only way available.

Thankyou for the response and information. It was not essential that I change the user name, I was going to use the name that David Hoover coined after our outing on Sunday, "Auger". After the dreadfull flight I had,it only seems appropriate. Anyway thanks for the info and more importantly, this Forum.
