%&$*#)@(*^Netscape!!!!

I've used Nescape forever and just recently downloaded thier latest browser. Its commandeered my computer with its own Icons rplacing Windows Icons but the most frustrating is the Email. Used to be when I wanted to email someone from the Forum I hit the Icon and my outlook opened up and I did it. Now, when I hit the Icon a Netscape Wizard pops up to help me start a new Netscape Email account. I hit the box to NOT make Nescape my default Email, but it doesn't make any difference.

Anybody else had this happen and figured out how to regain control?

Do you also have a copy of MS Internet Explorer on your computer?

You can specify the default email program from MSIE by going to Tools>Internet Options>Programs and selecting Outlook Express (or any other) as your mail client.

FWIW, I use Netscape 7.1 and it's email client (less vulnerable to the rash of viruses/worms). For my newsreader I use Forte FreeAgent and Outlook Express.
