Staying logged in

I, as a relative computer illiterate, must be doing something wrong. I still get logged out whenever I leave the site, even though I've done everything everyone else has, dumped cookies (What a pain!! I had to remember all the different passwords I use for other sites in order to log in there again!), dumped my cache of temporary internet files, reset my preferences several times, etc., trying to remain logged in, as I have for the last several months. I've logged in, visited another site and come back several times, all to no avail. Hopefully, when the new software is installed this will be fixed. In the meantime, I guess that it's not too big a deal to log in when I visit here.

I was logged in for months and now I'm logged out for some reason. Can't seem to get back in either. I filled out the correct user name and password and it has no effect. It doesn't register any incorrect password or anything. It lets me fill out a reply to a message but when I try to post the message it just goes back to the "enter name and password" page. O.K. Dumped the temporary internet files and cookies and it looks like it worked.

It works OK with Netscape 4.8, which is my preferred browser. But IE now doesn't work right at SSW when it comes to logging in. It will act like you are logged in for a single screen page, then if you're paying attention, you'll see that the option to "Mark" the conference as all read disappears, along with User Menus and Profiles. "Logout" turns back into Login.

(I have used IE successfully here in the past, so it's the current situation with the server that has changed, not IE.)

When they reconfigured the server, they reconfigured the domain name as well. Use this link and log in and then use it when you return.

At least for the moment, the solution is to use the www.clstunt.com
