Need 2 5-40x 1 1/4

Hello I am in need of 2 5-40 x 1 1/4" allen head cap screws for a muffler I have.If any one has 2 or 4 they could sell me that would be great.thanks Dennis

i belive those are the same size as the cox prop shaft screws. you might look into some one with some td .049 parts.

The Cox T D are 5 X 40, but they are only 1 inch long. they are also slot headed not socket heads. You might try Micro Fasteners .

Thanks guys .I was trying to save a few dollars.I had found them at microfasteners but to buy the 10 5-40x1 1/4' screws and pay there minimum freight charge they cost me about 10.00 dollars.Then I have to pay a 5.00 dollar customs fee plus 14% tax ? I was hoping someone had some and would sell me 2 or 4 and put them in a envolope and mail them for 2 or 3 dollars.Darn Macs mufflers and there 5-40 threads.I guess I well try and find some other fellows that need some blind nuts,screws ect and try to put together an order to make it resonable.Thanks again.Dennis

Dennis, I buy those at a hardware store. They are available at a well equiped one equivelant to our true value. which is where I get mine,
Before you go spending any extra cash take a tour of the hardware stores and look for their odd screw stuff. Believe me they are availalble.
If you want I'll get you a few the next time I go to the place. Dennis
